Friday Night Funkin' was created by a small team consisting of ninjamuffin99, Phantom Arcade, evilsk8r, and Kawai Sprite. The first FNF publishing on Newgrounds happened in November 2020.

Goal for game

To outperform your opponent, hit the notes in time with the music. Your meter fills up faster the better you do. Once the round is complete, you may defeat it.

Methods:

Arrows descend from the screen's top. When the arrows cross the judgment zone, press the corresponding arrow key on your keyboard. Timing is really key! Depending on the note, you may need to press several keys at once or hold a key.

Challenge:

Friday Night Funkin' has various difficulty levels, making it both challenging for rhythm game specialists and beginner-friendly. While tougher difficulties startle you with complicated patterns and fast speeds, gentler difficulties have fewer arrows and slower speeds.
